Approach

My approach is psychodynamic and relational. Psychotherapy offers a space to slow down and become more attuned to the patterns in your life, your relationships and your emotions.

As we explore these patterns, we pay attention to the complexity of your lived experience while remaining curious about how earlier experiences may continue to shape the present. We allow room for feelings that may be confusing or difficult to put into words, creating space for greater understanding, acceptance, and a more settled, confident sense of self.

Whether something has come to a head recently or built up over time, people often arrive with specific concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress at work or difficult relationships. Therapy can also open into a broader reflection on identity, creativity, meaning and change.

Whatever your reasons, therapy is an invitation to pause, reflect and reconnect with what is most important to you.

Some reasons people often seek help:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression and low mood

  • Low self-esteem and lack of confidence

  • Relational and interpersonal difficulties

  • Problems at work

  • Feeling overwhelmed

  • Complex trauma and post-traumatic stress

  • Life transitions

  • Bereavement and loss

  • Sexual and identity concerns

  • Compulsive and addictive behaviours

  • Self-harming behaviours

  • Anger

  • Abuse — physical or psychological
